Lactase is the enzyme responsible for breaking down lactose, the natural sugar found in milk and dairy products. Taking lactase immediately before consuming lactose-containing foods helps improve lactose digestion and can help reduce common symptoms associated with lactose intolerance, such as gas, bloating, abdominal discomfort, and diarrhea following dairy consumption.
Each capsule contains 250 mg of lactase enzyme providing 9,000 FCC Acid Lactase Units (ALU). This fast-acting formula works only on the lactose consumed during the meal in which it is taken, making it an effective solution for enjoying dairy products with greater confidence. The convenient capsule format allows flexible dosing based on individual lactose intake and tolerance.

Directions for Use
Recommended adult dose: Take 1–2 capsules, 1 to 3 times daily just before consuming any food containing lactose or as directed by a health care practitioner.
Lactase Enzyme must be taken each time you consume a lactose-containing food, as the enzyme will only work on the food just consumed. Lactase Enzyme has no lasting effect beyond the meal with which it is taken. Depending on the amount of lactose in the food you eat, or for severe lactose intolerance, you may need to adjust the dosage to 2 capsules, but no more than 2.
