Shipping policy

Shipping & Delivery  

Purchases will be shipped via third party delivery services from our Toronto distribution center. You can expect your purchase to arrive within 2 - 15 business days from receipt of your order depending upon your location (exceptions may occur).

Please allow up to 5 business days to process and pack your order. Orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding public holidays. Shipping Cost

  • Free Shipping only in Canada on orders of $54.99 & above.
  • The Free Shipping offer applies to villagevitaminstore.ca orders only.
  • The Free Shipping offer is subject to change without notice.
  • To qualify for free shipping, your total order value must be $54.99 or more before any taxes, fees, or shipping charges are added.
  • Free shipping applies only to addresses in Canada. Shipment restrictions to remote locations may apply. 
  • Oversize items need to be delivered via freight carriers and those items are not eligible for Free Shipping.
  • Free shipping will not apply if any purchase of an item is canceled, resulting in a total purchase of less than $54.99.
  • Shipping costs for orders below $54.99 will be subject to the weight & price of the item.


Out-of-Stock Items

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. If your item gets out of stock after your purchase, we will contact you to discuss how you would like to process it further.

Address Accuracy

We rely on our customers to ensure the provided shipping address is accurate and complete.

  • If the customer’s address has an Apartment/Suite number/Buzzer code, please indicate the same in the address box (Optional box at the checkout).
  • Orders lost or stolen due to customers failing to provide correct apartment number and/or buzz codes will be deemed not at fault of the company or courier service used for shipment.
  • If the customer’s address is a business address with a limited-hours-of-delivery window, please indicate the business hours in the address box (Optional box at the checkout).
  • If the customer doesn't indicate if its a place of business and its hours as well, they will only qualify for reshipments or store credits (minus 15% restock fee)

 

Shipping labels are generated directly from the shipping information you have provided. If you provide us with an incorrect postal code or other addressing error (e.g. incorrect or missing apartment number or missing hours of business) you will be charged an additional $10 CDN fee for Ontario shipments or $12 for all other Canadian shipments since the shipping company will charge us a fee for this correction. 

Order Cancellation and Changes

We do not normally accept order cancellations or changes once an order has been processed. If you have a question about your order, please reach us at customerservice@villagevitaminstore.ca and quote your order number.

All Probiotics are shipped with ice packs, once the order has been shipped, it is non-refundable. We do not ship Probiotics over the weekend, these orders are shipped Mondays through Wednesdays. 

All order cancellations initiated by the customer, when the company is not at fault, are subject to a restocking fee of 15% of the total order value. This fee covers handling, processing, and inventory management costs. Cancellations must be requested in writing and will only be considered if the order has not yet been shipped. Once an order has been shipped, it is subject to the company’s return policy.

Order Tracking

When your order is shipped from our distribution center, we will send you an email to confirm your shipment - this email will include a tracking number and link to enable you to track your package.

International Shipping

Only in the USA as of now. We cannot ship anywhere else internationally.

US Shipping Policy

To our valued US customers, please note:

  1. We are a reputable company that has been operating since 1950. All orders ship from our main store location in Mississauga, Ontario.
  2. All charges are in Canadian dollars.
  3. All US orders are shipped via Canada Post. Shipping charges will be determined according to weight and destination at the time of check out.
  4. If there are any additional tariffs, custom clearance fees, and related charges, they are the responsibility of the customer. Village Vitamin Store has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
  5. US orders cannot be insured and are shipped at the risk of the recipient.
  6. Village Vitamin Store can only be responsible for the shipment while it is still in Canada. After it crosses the border, it is the responsibility of the customer to track it. Customers will receive an email confirmation with the tracking number once the order has been shipped. From past experience, delivery times range from 1 to 2 weeks.
  7. Correspondence with US customers will be done via email only.
  8. All US orders are final - no returns or refunds will be issued.
  9. We will make every effort to safely and promptly fulfill your order.
