Take 1-2 capsules just before consuming any food containing lactose, or as directed by a health care practitioner. Lactase must be taken each time you consume a lactose containing food, as the enzyme will only work on the food just consumed. Lactase has no lasting effect beyond the meal with which they are taken. Depending on the amount of lactose in the food you eat, or for severe lactose intolerance, you may need to adjust the dosage to 2 capsules, but no more than 2. Keep out of the reach of children.
