You may have heard that pure and natural essential oils extracted from plants can help people relax when they are diffused into the air as aromatherapy, but not all of us realize that some essential oils can produce benefits by being applied directly to the skin, topically. In particular, lavender may help dissipate the muscular or other tension which underlies tension headaches, while peppermint can help ease pain -- without causing gastrointestinal distress, as many pain relievers do. This Canadian-made product comes in a 1-3/4 inch long vial which you can comfortably carry in your pocket or keep in your office desk drawer.
For external use only. Apply in circular motions to the temples, forehead, nape of the neck, up to three times a day.
Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and damaged, irritated or sensitive skin. (Rinse off abundantly with vegetable oil or water, if necessary.)
Per unit dose:
Lavender officinale (Lavender angostifolia): 0.8 mg
Peppermint essential oil (Mentha pipereta): 0.4 mg
Non-medicinal ingredient: Isopropyl palmitate.
